About Dr. Nguyen
Hello, I’m Dr. Michael Nguyen, a Bay Area native and board-certified periodontist with over a decade of experience. I am dedicated to providing you with gentle and effective periodontal care. I strongly feel that excellent oral health begins with education and prevention.
Patient comfort is a priority for me. As such, I am trained, certified, and experienced with IV sedation to maximize patient comfort.
I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Pursuing my passion for the science of periodontology and dental implants, I completed my postdoctoral specialty training and received dual certificates in Periodontology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and from the Birmingham Veterans Affairs Hospital.
In my leisure time, I enjoy mountain biking, cheering on the Warriors and 49ers, and especially spending quality time with my wife and two daughters. Here at the Ueno Center, we have the latest technology in periodontology and dental implants to provide world-class care. I look forward to providing our patients with that experience.
