About Dr. Abbas

Dr. Abbas Doctor is a board certified periodontist passionate about improving oral health. Raised in a rural town in West Virginia, Dr. Abbas was inspired by his father, a general dentist, to pursue a career in dentistry. He earned a bachelor's degree in biomedical science at Marshall University before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University.

Driven to expand his clinical expertise, Dr. Abbas completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. While completing the AEGD, he developed a strong interest in periodontics. This passion led him to pursue an advanced specialty training in periodontics along with a Master of Science degree, at the University of Texas at Houston.

Dr. Abbas has been practicing in California since the completion of his residency in periodontics. He is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care using the latest techniques and technology.

In his free time, Dr. Abbas enjoys spending time with his wife, Andrea, hiking, cooking and exploring new places.
